“Failing to plan is planning to fail” Jake Bobek
Another OG high school friend of mine, Jake Bobek, joins the show. Get used to it folks, these are my people!
Jake is a self-proclaimed “good” student, could have been better. Didn’t play football past freshman year, but killed it in Baseball and Tennis.
Went on to LSU, The Princeton of the south, rushed SAE and lived the southern life. New Orleans was exactly what he was looking for and had a blast.
After college through a couple recommendations, Jake and his girlfriend at the time made a big move out to big time LA!(SPOILER ALERT: The girlfriend didn’t work out) Walked into a job interview with a list of leads and a willingness to fill a need. He got the job and LA was officially his new home.
After that big get of a job, he wanted to try on his entrepreneurial hat and with another agent opened an office of their own. He was missing some of the infrastructure of a larger brokerage and made the move back to one of the largest brokerages in LA.
